

The place in this video works great because it has two lifts in one place and there are always two guards spawning nearby. Lure them below the lift and then cut the rope. Simply get detected, look for such a lift, and wait for the enemies to catch up.

If an enemy is standing below the lift it will kill him and unlock the trophy / achievement for you. Running towards them will automatically make you cut the rope that activates the counterweight. Lifts can be found all around the open world. Some areas are heavily guarded and others are locked (always keep lockpicks in your inventory to open doors). If you want to do it solo you should get some good gear first. You can play them solo (private match) or with other players in a public match. The starting points of all co-op missions are marked on the map. Then select “Co-Op Missions” and it will show how many there are in every mission and how many you have found. You can see how many sync points you have found by going to the “Progress Tracker” in the pause menu.

Only after completing all missions and sync points you can fully upgrade everything! The rest of the skills can be obtained from story missions. The only way to make them appear on the map is to use eagle vision when you are near one of them.Įach co-op mission also gives you 2-3 skill points just for completing it. I love the idea of separate pieces of armor affecting your stats lending a light RPG feel to the game, I love the visuals even if by 2021 they are painfully dated to an extent. However even with its ambition it really feels like an amalgam of previous ideas that have been updated for the then news consoles/audience. I don't think it's as bad as people make it out to be but it's certainly not great. And this ambition is what kinda led to its downfall in a way.

To give a little bit of an explanation for this series, ever since Assassin's Creed 2 the series has seen a yearly release schedule and at the time of its release, Unity was the 7th commercially released entry in the series which is awfully fitting since it made its debut on the 7th generation consoles but at this point, the series began to feel a little long in the hidden blade if you catch my drift. I usually don't make reviews unless I have either played a considerable amount of the game or have finished it but in the case of Assassin's Creed Unity I need to write this review early and sadly its gonna be negative which honestly I don't want to do because there's definitely a lot of great ideas flowing through this game but they can't save what feels like a slow burn that never ignites the same joy previous entries brought.
